A Call pt. 2

When I was young, my family drove to New York from here in good ole south Georgia.  We were given very specific instructions about when we were allowed to stop and use the restroom.  Mom and Dad were very focused on their goal and many of the things we needed along the way (restroom breaks) slowed us from reaching our destination.

I wonder sometimes if it’s like that when God places a call on your life.  With the millions of possibilities there are to serve Him, do we have to let some go for the sake of staying focused on His calling?  Do we have to watch people suffer as we move to where God has created us to be eternally effective?  This is an interesting experience.
